Michael Davis

Michael Davis is the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of WGI, where he leads the firm’s strategic planning, growth initiatives, and M&A activities. With four decades of high-level experience in strategic planning, environmental policy, and governmental relations, Michael has held senior positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, White House Council on Environmental Quality, Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Department of the Interior. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, Associate Director of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and Federal Director of Everglades Restoration. At WGI, he guides annual business development planning across divisions and leads the firm’s Crisis Management Team. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Biology and a Master of Science in Biology from Austin Peay State University.
