Topic: Civic Responsibility
  • Volunteerism- the practice of providing time and skills for the benefit of other people and causes rather than financial benefit
  • Social Action- acts of kindness performed to perfect or repair the world
  • Social Impact- the effect an organization's actions have on the well being of the community​
During the past eight years at The Lord's Place, Eve’s entrepreneurial spirit has aided her in building alliances with funding sources from private, public and government resources that resulted in targeted vocational and job training for program participants. Eve has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of The Lord's Place Social Enterprise programs and business development for the past five years during which she has created, implemented and managed
comprehensive employment programs for formerly homeless and ex-offender participants.
